For the entrance situation of the beach promenade a functional, technically simple and artistically interesting and with the visitors memorable new shower system should be developed. Also, the plant should act as a walk-through pool to absorb as much sand from the feet of the visitors.
The property and proportion of the leaf coral served as inspiration and basis for the later detailed design of the coral shower. Due to the cascading coral shells that tapered downwards and upwards, a larger number of visitors were able to use the shower system at the same time. Simultaneous sand was removed from the dammed up pool water by passing through the basin. The optical design is maritime and due to the height of 3-4 meters from afar very impressive and striking. The coral shower has established itself among the visitors to the popular photo motive and thus fully achieved its desired goal.
